Okay first, let me just tell you how badass you are for fucking eloping. Breaking traditions, being a little rebellious and living life to the fullest is what I am all about.
I’m busting all of those wild myths that say you can only have a fun elopement in Vegas or that you have to go to the most gorgeous mountainside to have a beautiful day. Honestly, fuck that. Your elopement day can be fun and incredible no matter where you are at!
Cincinnati became home to me almost 6 years ago and as a girl from a small town in Illinois, I was amazed by the beauty. Not just the city itself but everything surrounding it. I spent endless hours exploring and adventuring so that I could see everything that the area had to offer. The more that I explored, the more that I fell in love with it all. I even eloped here with my love last April.
I crafted this 2024 guide to eloping in Cincinnati so you can have the most incredible elopement in the city or just a little beyond the architecture.

Cue the music, pop a bottle, go exploring, dance in the desert, get comfortable, do your thang. We’ll provide prompts to help you get comfortable (no need to worry about what to do with your hands), but mostly we’ll just hang out and let the magic happen.
the experience
Elopements are celebrations with just you and your partner and up to 20 guests, if you choose. Your elopement can consist of taking a sunrise hike to Ash Cave in Hocking Hills and having your vows under the waterfall or with your small group of loved ones at the Hamilton County Courthouse in Downtown Cincinnati.
An intimate wedding or "lil wedding" as I like to call it, is when you have 20-75 guests celebrating the day with you. You'll want to book a bigger Cincinnati wedding venue like Somerhaus or the Promont House in Indian Hill.
