Adventure Cincinnati Elopement at Bender Mountain

Elopement

BENDER MOUNTAIN IS A GORGEOUS PLACE TO GET MARRIED OR ELOPE IN CINCINNATI. WITH A WOODED AREA AND FLOWING RIVER, THIS SPOT WILL HAVE VIEWS AND EVERYTHING YOU COULD HAVE EVER DREAMED. PLUS, IT’S A SECLUDED SPOT WITH MINIMAL TRAFFIC.

Picture it – I get an inquiry from the coolest chick ever, Kirsten. She told me that her and the boo thang, Lloyd, were wanting to elope in Ohio but here was the twist. They hadn’t been to Cincinnati and wanted to get married within a week. So what did your girl do?

I SAID ABSO-FUCKING-LUTELY.

Kirsten and I had texted for hours to get her ultimate elopement planned. I sent her and Lloyd my location guide and they chose Bender Mountain. I was unbelievably excited because Bender Mountain was one of the first places I ever hiked when moving to Cincinnati. They even planned on taking a dip in the river afterwards so that they could have an epic elopement.

I met Kirsten at the Bender Mountain parking lot before Lloyd got there. The officiant, Renee, came to the rescue with the best plan to get Kirsten in her wedding dress – a suntanning tent. Yes, it really did happen in the parking lot and I had the honor of helping this babe into her beautiful dress.

They had the sweetest first look and Kirsten was rocking the Converse wedding shoes which Lloyd was totally digging. With a quick and sweet ceremony, these two were officially married. They celebrated with cupcakes and champagne, then hopped into the water to cool down.

With clothes soaking wet and hearts full, we went to the open field for the most beautiful blue light photos. Kirsten got out of her dress, wrapped up into a towel and then they hit the road to their hotel for tacos. It was seriously the most amazing night and I’m so honored to have been apart of it.

Okay, I’ll stop talking now. I hope you like these as much as I do.
